Compensation Disclosure
Here is how compensation works when you buy a home with The Soukup Group — in plain English, up front, and before you tour a single home.
-
Compensation is negotiable
Real estate broker compensation is not set by law or by any industry standard. It is always negotiable, and the amount and structure are agreed between you and your broker.
-
Agreed in writing, up front
Before we tour homes together, we put our agreement in writing. That written buyer-broker agreement spells out the services we provide and how we are compensated, so there are no surprises later.
-
What a seller offers varies by listing
On a given home, the seller or listing brokerage may or may not offer to contribute toward a buyer's agent compensation. Whether such an offer exists, and how much it is, varies from listing to listing — we confirm and disclose it for each home you consider.
-
We talk about it openly
The Soukup Group discusses compensation transparently from the start. You will always know how we are paid before you commit to anything, and we are happy to walk through the details with you.
